30 July 2010, Valletta (Ref: App. Civ. 696/1999/1). The Constitutional Court confirmed a judgement of the First Hall of the Civil Court in its consitutional jurisdiction, that the expropriation of farmland to build a road, amounted to a 'public interest'.

30 July 2010, Valletta (Ref: Citaz. Nru. 1125/2007). A contractor who came second in a tendering process was not awarded material damages after the original award was declared vitiated by the Courts of Justice.

13 August 2010, Cheshire UK. Police attending a crime scene did not chase thieves escaping from the scene, out of consideration for the perpetrators' health and safety.

26 July 2010, Budapest. The representative of patients' rights and the patient's legal representative have to be immediately informed about the limitation of personal freedom in hospital. The implementation of such restrictive measures is to be ordered exclusively in keeping with the legal norm and is to be documented, Hungarian Ombudsman Máté Szabó warned after investigating a complaint.
